AbleVets, LLC is a fast-growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. AbleVets has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Windows System Administrator (HAIMS) to support information technology projects for our customers. There are multiple roles open at the junior, mid, and senior levels. Positions will be based on site at our customer s facility in Charleston, South Carolina. The candidate will provide System Administration in support of large Government program. On call after hours and weekend support may be required as necessary. Duties include but are not limited to: System Sustainment and Monitoring: Server Services and port monitoring (i.e. CMS Replication services stops or Study Registration is not running) Server to server connectivity (i.e. Connectivity to HAIR web VIP stops) Server Usage monitoring/altering: Hard Drive usage, CPU usage, Memory usage Design and deployment of critical monitoring tools such as System Center Operation Manager and Configuration Manager Help with sustainment activities: After-hours system/alert monitoring Help with Windows 2008/2012 patching and maintenance SQL Database Maintenance: (Recently introduced): Managing and fixing database fragmentation Managing cluster failover and health Backup of SQL DBs Active Directory Maintenance: Ensuring systems are in the correct OU's Ensuring the GPO is correct and implemented properly Maintaining Active Directory accounts - for accuracy and relevance Maintaining Service Accounts - for accuracy and relevance Active Directory Migrations Backup Solution Design/Deployment/Sustainment: CommVault administration Backup jobs administration System restoration, as required Other Tasks include: Supporting other environment application builds and troubleshooting Process improvement Multiple levels available. Qualifications for each are: Junior: Associate s degree in Computer Science or technology related field and three (3) years of related experience or high school diploma and six (6) years of related experience. Mid: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or technology related field and three (3) years of related experience. An additional six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Senior: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or technology related field and six (6) years of related experience. An additional six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement. In addition to the above, candidates must also possess: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance DOD 8570 Certifications for IAT Level II: Security and Windows OS cert required Experience with Remote Administration of systems and Administration of Windows OS Systems Experience with MS SharePoint, MS SQL, Windows Clustering, SQL Clustering Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2012 in MSCS failover clustering setup Must be able to install/configure/maintain Windows Server 2012 Analytical skills set to troubleshoot day-to-day issues (Windows systems, IIS, SQL, TCP/IP Network) Familiar with HP c7000 and HP SAN storage devices (3 PARs/EMC SANs) Familiar with McAfee and Host Base Security Systems (HBSS) Familiar with Retina Scanning/ACAS Experience with VMWare 6.0 virtual environment and ESXi Experience with MS System Center: Configuration Manager and Operations Manager Experience designing/deploying/Configuring/Sustaining CommVault Software v9.0/10.0. Experience with Active Directory (AD) operations (promoting/demoting/DNS/account administration/replication TO INCLUDE: Experienced with Active Directory migrations Great working knowledge in Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO) Installation and maintenance of Active Directory (AD) Familiar with help ticket systems and help desk troubleshooting activities Ability to communicate well with the team and government representatives Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment On call, weekend and after hours work requirements are necessary May need to complete rare travel deployments Preferred/ Desired Skills: Active DoD Secret clearance is preferred AbleVets LLC appreciates your interest in our company as a place of employment.
